Senior IT Business System Analyst

Responsibilities:

The Senior IT Business System Analyst will be a highly motivated and self-driven individual that thrives in a fast paced, exciting environment. Works independently with little to no guidance and is naturally inquisitive and adept in communication, and facilitation. This role provides an opportunity to leverage strong analytical skills to solve complex business problems across multiple functional areas, while also providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and implementing systems and applications to support business requirements. This role requires someone that will demonstrate leadership in the business analysis discipline and apply their working knowledge of the company, industry, and/or business domain.

Specific Job Function:

• Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths
• Review application portfolio to ensure business needs are met
• Perform design or redesign of business processes to improve operational efficiency

• Writes and edits technical documents including reference manuals and policy procedures

• Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancements and implementations
• Designs, develops, delivers and evaluates training programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field
• 3 - 5 years demonstrable IT Business Analyst experience
• Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point
• Strong relationship building & communication skills
• Can work independently or with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
