JOB TITLE: Retail Channel Director

SUMMARY: The Retail Channel Director is responsible for differentiating and selling Cuisine Solutions products, establishing its value proposition with goal of driving profitable sales for assigned sales channel. You are responsible for creating and sustaining new sales and contrasting ends by establishing and keeping a good working relationship with clients. You communicate well with clients about products and offered services and possess knowledge in providing demonstrations. You will work with promotion teams to increase sales through events and other activities and expand relationships with existing customers and clients.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Culinary Arts or related field;

*at least 5 years of demonstrable experience with regional and or national accounts with proven relationships in the food industry.

* Experience managing people is necessary.

*Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and customers in a courteous and professional manner.

* analytical skills with deep understanding of pricing and P&L impact of sales decisions; ability to quickly assess business situation, identify and use needed resources to drive successful sales.

*ability to work with external and internal clients in a courteous and professional manner.

* excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proven customer acquisition, development, and retention skills.

*ability to successfully execute duties in a responsible and responsive manner.

* possess self-management skills with a high degrees of discipline and personal accountability.

* ability to work independently as well as a team player.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversight over Retail Brands sales operation and strategy.
  • Proven track record on ability to grow brands and sales on club, c-stores and traditional retailers.
  • Experience with CPG (consumer packaged goods) product development cycles.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, reading financial statements and developing tools to monitor, record and report on sales activity .
  • Extensive experience with pricing of CPG items.
  • Experience managing remote sales team.
  • Extensive professional network within the retail industry, preferably on fully cooked products.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
