TITLE: Culinary Sales Specialist


DEPARTMENT: Sales, NRC (National Restaurant Chains)

POSITION REPORT TO: Director, NRC (National Restaurant Chains)


SUMMARY: The Culinary Sales Specialist is responsible for providing a full-service approach to prospect and client management. This includes culinary expertise; establishing the value proposition of Sous Vide to drive profitable sales within the National Restaurant Chains channel; developing innovative and differentiated products that meet our customers culinary, operational, and strategic needs; and developing and maintaining multilayer relationships within the assigned accounts.

  • 3 years of demonstrable experience with regional and or national accounts with proven relationships in the food industry;
  • analytical skills with an understanding of pricing and P&L impact of sales decisions;
  • ability to quickly assess business situation, identify and use needed resources to drive successful sales;
  • ability to work with external and internal clients in a courteous and professional manner ; excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proven customer acquisition, development, and retention skills;
  • ability to successfully execute duties in a responsible and responsive manner ; possess selfmanagement skills with a high degrees of discipline and personal accountability;
  • ability to work independently as well as a team player.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Culinary Arts or related field
  • Responsible for taking ownership of, generating, developing, and expanding sales within the specified categories of focus, or within individual accounts.
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop products which meet customers' needs.
  • Successful execution of Cuisine Solutions objectives aligned with yearly budget in National Restaurant Chains.
  • Call on existing and prospective customers, generating sales while always ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to achieve individual, channel and company objectives.
  • Manage expense budget and control expenses effectively.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and create business plans based on a customer's needs and objectives with or independent of the assistance of Cuisine Solutions' world-class culinary team.
  • Develop sales timelines, sales strategies, and production forecasts for specified channel by utilizing sales and culinary expertise.
  • Educate customers on technical aspects of products.
  • Monitor and analyze competition in addition to regular market research to keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions.
  • Develop systems and support processes to create opportunities and improve assigned business segment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 40-60% Using discretion and sound judgement to prioritize time and travel budget.
