Program Manager - Battery Systems

The Program Manager for Battery Systems will manage the execution of projects within the Battery Systems Organization. This role will be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the projects. This position will interface with the business development team, engineering team, and manufacturing team, to develop and manufacture battery systems projects. This position will also help in developing processes and templates to mature the program management organization.
This position will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to meet our internal and customer requirements, while also staying on schedule and within budget. This position will provide regular updates to leadership on the status of each program/project and how it is performing to plan. This position will work with the technical teams to develop and manage program plans, identify and mitigate risks, and support resource allocation and prioritization.
As an ideal candidate, you have a technical background, be detail driven, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You have excellent communication skills and are able to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the details of operation challenges. You have a track record as a project manager driving complex projects, covering both the planning and execution phases. You are a solution-oriented person who proactively identifies and addresses problems and takes pride in the quality of your work. The high level responsibilities of this role are:
Develop and manage the development and production schedules for the Battery Systems Organization
Lead/support the cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the Battery Systems organization
Identify and work with a cross-functional team to mitigate top execution risks
Manage battery system supply chain efforts
Support FAA/EASA certification efforts
Develop and manage certification schedules
Develop and manage customer specific program schedules
Interface with customers as Battery Systems Program Manager
Support customer proposal efforts
