Position Summary

As the Lead Business Analyst for our Peace Corps program, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will lead a team that includes the Sr ServiceNow Developer, collaborating closely to gather insights and recommendations instrumental in driving improvements, streamlining processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business processes to design, develop, and implement effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Lead the analysis of business objectives, processes, and requirements, ensuring clear documentation and alignment with project goals.
  • Work closely with the ServiceNow Developer to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow to meet the unique needs of the Peace Corps, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Develop, test, and deploy new modules, applications, and workflows within the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with the ServiceNow Developer and other relevant teams.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and integrations to ensure ongoing system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other developers and administrators to ensure seamless integration between ServiceNow and other systems and platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform, working with the IT support team as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow developments, features, and best practices to continually enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or senior role.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in documenting business requirements, use cases, and process flows.
  • Experience working on technology projects and collaborating with development teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of integration between ServiceNow and other third-party systems.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.

Clearance Requirements

  • Eligibility to obtain a public trust clearance with the Peace Corps.
