Job Description

The Crystal Café by Faith2Felicity Boutique Manager drives sales by offering outstanding customer service, persistent attention to detail in supervising the jewelry sales associates.

As a crystal and gemstone retailer, the incumbent must be willing to learn crystals, gemstones, and energy healing principles. 

The incumbent will train the staff in jewelry product knowledge including making them aware of new items, top sellers, crystals, gemstones, and energy healing principles and their unique ability to customize their jewelry. 

The incumbent will manage jewelry and product inventory cycle counts on a regular basis. Ensure smooth boutique opening, closing and general floor supervision as scheduled and needed. Consistently demonstrate and uphold the Faith2Felicity culture with the utmost integrity. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Service/Sales

* Customer service is key; the incumbent must always lead by example. The incumbent is responsible to ensure customer database is up to date and provides sales team with training on capturing customer data (phone, email, etc.)

* Provides follow-up calls to customers to inquire about their experience with the sales associates and products/services offered. Listens to customers and uses their feedback to improve service levels in all areas of customer engagement. 

* Collaborates to determine boutique budget sales, payroll, and inventory goals. Analyzes jewelry and related product sales trends and develop plans to maximize profits and minimize costs.

* Must be familiar with all operations of the boutique and able to pitch in where needed.

* Consistently exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customer.

* Provides ongoing sales and product training for the staff to achieve sales goals.

* Coordinates product photoshoots and product descriptions for implementation on company website.

* Manages newsletter and promotional calendar based on weekly and monthly sales goals.

* Directs customer service training to the staff and encourages a drama-free environment where turnover is kept to a minimum.

* Provides challenging goals and assignments to ensure all associates are performing to company expectations

* Motivates and develops associates by providing frequent developmental discussions, product training, sales and service techniques. Assists in writing and delivering boutique associate reviews.

* Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization's website.

* Coordinates with contract support to report and resolve all website issues.

* Conducts content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.

* Creates appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.

* Provides input to improve the User Experience of the website regularly.

* Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.

*Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.

 * Keeps tight controls and management of all jewelry stock/inventory while ensuring on-site staff maintain a tidy, organized and secure work environment.

* Ensures all products are clearly labeled and on display.

* Consistently enforces all company policies and procedures.

* Establishes and maintains project management system to track current and pending tasks and initiatives.

*Completes other tasks and projects as assigned.

Desired Skills and Expertise

* Associates degree in a related field required, BS or BA preferred.

* 2 plus years retail management experience, including previous specialty retail general, boutique manager responsibilities.

* Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware

* Knowledge of marketing and newsletter distribution best practices.

* Experience in an environment where customer service is highly regarded.

Other Skills

* Ability to read and write English fluently, including business communication.

* Computer literacy including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Proven critical judgment and decision-making skills.

* Proven effective interpersonal skills at all levels.

Marketing Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing using consumer statistics, like income information, buying trends and value perceptions to help meet financial goals. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, advertising and developing promotional budgets. 

Work Environment

* Ability to work in a retail boutique environment, e.g. standing, merchandising, stocking shelves, etc.

* Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds to 25 pounds.

We offer a competitive wage and a benefits package that will become active after 120 days of employment.  

NOTE: Remote work is authorized for this position; incumbent is required to make visits to the boutique 3 times per week to monitor inventory, provide training and or direction to the staff.
