LICENSED CLINICAL DIRECTOR ROLE:
Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Licensed Clinical Director (LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist) directs and coordinates this 16 bed ACUTE locked psychiatric program. This program serves clients 18 and older. The Licensed Clinical Director (LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist) ensures compliance with established policies and procedures, regulations and accreditation standards of the overall program and timely completion of respective reporting requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
a. Must hold a license as a LCSW, Psychologist, LMFT or Psychiatrist.
b. A minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical setting, at least one of which was in a mental health setting and two of which was in a supervisory capacity.
b. Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-5, psycho social rehabilitation, PSR and recovery principles.
c. Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
2. Other Qualifications:
a. Proven ability to work with others at all levels within the organization and collaborate effectively.
b. Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.
c. Experience in working with health care and mental health regulatory agencies.
e. A valid California drivers license.
