Description:
The staff accountant will process, code, record, submit and reconcile client business transactions. This includes sales, billing, accounts receivable, payment receipts, purchasing, receiving, expense, banking, sales tax, inventory, payroll, time entry, interfaced data and all other related accounting transactions. The work is primarily handled using the latest technology and future looking practices. The position objective is to perform in the most accurate, timely and efficient manner possible.

Responsibilities:
Assembling information for processing
Processing client business transactions
Reconciling bank and credit card transactions
Properly coding and recording transactions
Ensuring transactions are current and accurate
Reconciling financial discrepancies
Generating financial reports
Preparing sales tax returns
Processing time entry and payroll
Processing client billings and payments
Posting cash receipts
Preparing data for input, upload and interface
Keeping track of client assets
Notifying management of errors
Communicating with clients in a clear and concise manner
Recommend process actions based on analysis
Maintaining data security and client confidentiality
Maintaining client confidence
Following firm rules and guidelines
Recording time
Other duties as assigned

Must have requirements:

Computerized accounting knowledge
Proficiency with Excel
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Technology savvy
