Credit Union of the Rockies is seeking a IT/Systems oriented team member to join our credit union!

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll provide strong resolution of software, hardware, and platform support. The IT Specialist provides first-level desktop support to Credit Union of the Rockies staff to ensure downtime remains low so productivity can remain high. It is important to our culture that the person we hire for this role has a friendly disposition, helpful attitude, and patience for non-technical employees working in an ever-increasing technical environment.

DUTIES
  • Administers internal (and external 3rd party) service support requests and ticket queues as the first point of contact for the IT department.
  • Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, and tests computer workstations, printers and other hardware peripherals.
  • Creates and maintains strong procedures and technical documentation related to this role.
  • Has strong communication with ticket submitters throughout projects or troubleshooting.
  • Works with appropriate vendors for a variety of organization initiatives.
  • Monitors and enhances network connectivity across the organization's branch network
  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. This
    includes periodic auditing and reporting.
  • Always learning - we expect this role to take advantage of training opportunities and continuing education to broaden skills within their role based on increasing industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Experience: Up to six months of similar or related experience including time spent in preparatory positions.
