Position Overview: ProApprove is a leading provider of home improvement financing solutions. The Sales Manager maximizes partnerships with home improvement contractors across the country via traditional contact channels (in-person meetings, telephone, email, etc.). They will be responsible for establishing contact with existing contractors (book of business), identifying new contractors, and following up on potential leads.

The Sales Manager will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in the home improvement finance industry and existing relationships with contractors. To learn more about ProApprove, visit Essential Job Functions * Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business. * Meet or exceed book of business sales goals. * Client Leadership: Is perceived as a leader and driver of business within their book of business. Facilitates the development of a vision for the overall success of the contractor relationship with ProApprove. * Complete scheduled and cold-call prospecting activities to establish first and follow-up appointments with contractors. * Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of ProApprove's services and pricing structure. * Aspiration-Setting: Sets bold aspirations-a clear vision-for the development of the relationship. * Relationship Strategy: Sets and executes a client relationship strategy that defines which issues to focus on, which opportunities to pursue, and which individuals to invest in. * Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence. * Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth. * Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly. * Must present and communicate in a professional manner. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. * Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals. * Past book of business management. * Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction. * Excellent interpersonal communication.
