Highlights of the Staff Accountant Opportunity:

  • Preparing schedules and reconciliations, processing transactions, and posting journal entries
  • Accurate and timely financial statement reporting in accordance with GAAP and full documentation
  • Reconciling general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Maintains depreciation, amortization, prepaid and accrual schedules
  • Prepares cash transfers to facilitate managerical checking account increases and inter-company transactions

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant Opportunity:

  • Associates degree in Accounting or comparable coursework
  • Minimum 1 year GL accounting experience
  • Knowledge and application of accounting principles and functions and a familiarity of GAAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook applications
