Job Overview:

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for translating customer needs into application, operational, and technology requirements, successfully engage as SCRUM Master by managing multiple projects and business cases, support, educate and mentor project teams, and leverage applications and technologies to drive business process change.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with the technology group and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision.
  • Act as the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
  • Understand customers’ business objectives using document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, and workflow analysis.
  • Ensure the projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and standard,
  • Define successful project success criteria and evaluation methods.
  • Engage as SCRUM master by managing multiple projects, conducting yearly reviews, and creating business cases as needed.
  • Support and mentor team members, identify and help grow Subject Matter Experts throughout the organization.
  • Engage in professional development to stay updated on project management methodologies and technologies.

Preferred Experience & Qualities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management, SCRUM, and Agile Methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of scope, schedule, budget, and defined quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and engage as a SCRUM master.
  • Experience implementing an ERP System as part of a team or lead.
  • Extensive knowledge of operational and ERP business processes.
  • Experienced developing internal relationships with department leads or SME's.
  • Must have strong organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to work cross functionally.

Bonus Experience:

  • SCRUM, Agile or PMP certifications.
  • Experience working with QAD ERP software.
  • Experience within the Automotive or Manufacturing industries.
  • Familiar with standards such as IATF or AIAG.
  • Experience leading ERP implementations.
