Preschool Teacher

We are a private preschool in the Westwood/Century City area looking for a creative and caring teacher to add to our team.

A preschool teacher at Creative Center for Children is responsible for creating a fun and loving environment while incorporating educational programs that are in line with the school's philosophy and assist in the children's development. Teachers must be able to craft a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and well-balanced, incorporating all areas of learning (math, art, physical education, science, language arts, health, music, technology, phonics, etc.). Candidate must be able to manage day-to-day classroom activities including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time, and rest time.

Candidate must be a team player, partnering with other teachers and staff members to enhance the learning environment at school and maintaining positive and professional communication with parents. Qualifications and Skills Required:

A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education semester units (ECE)

Caring and nurturing attitude towards children

Excellent communication skills

If offered the position, you must provide:

A current TB test

Proof of immunity against Pertussis, Measles, and the Flu

A background check and fingerprint clearance (as required by the Department of Social Services)

CPR and First Aid certification
