Assistant Manager - Reference/Local History Department (full-time)

Description: CDPL is looking for a customer service-oriented assistant manager for our Reference/Local History Department. The person in this position will support the manager and staff of the Reference/Local History Department, a department that provides library collections, programs, and services for adults, which include genealogy and local history research and assistance with the adult public computers.
Education/Experience: MLS or MLIS (or degree in progress) required; 2-3 years of library experience; supervisory experience a plus; preferred: advanced computer literacy; experience with digital collections; social media/website content creation experience; marketing skills; database management/maintenance; eligible for LC3 certification or higher.

Schedule: 38 hours/week. Days with some evenings and weekends
