Our client is looking for qualified Data Architect III / Dashboard Developer to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) contract by providing 24/7 expertise in the areas of Data Architecture, Information Architecture, and Dashboard Development.
Develop scope and understand technical requirements with input from stakeholders.
Collaborate with designers to develop interface functionality.
Present concise stages of interface design development to stakeholders.
Develop software requirements specification documents for applications on DHA servers.
Design and maintain SAS BI web reporting pages, portals and all other related applications.
Support the following SAS Software, BI (BI) capabilities on:
DHA servers, portals and dashboards
Interactive business visualization
Web-based reporting and authoring
Advanced data exploration
Microsoft Office integration
Centralized metadata management
Quality Indicators through up-to-date SAS codes provided by AHRQ and generate required tables and charts
Develop, implement, administer and maintain policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of DHA Analytics databases, data marts, software programs and hardware systems.
Follow all DHA/MHS protocols and procedures and obtain appropriate and required access and approval to develop/implement/maintain and administer data/databases within the DHA/MHS environments.
Optimize and support data warehousing components, analytical cubes, stored procedures and complex SQL queries to support dashboards and reports.
Develop process and queries to support recurring reports/requests.
Identify and communicate database requirements in support of DHA Analytics initiatives and implement upgrades of hardware and software as necessary to enhance database performance.
Implement data models, database designs and data access business rules to ensure that analysts, data miners and developers can utilize data effectively.
Monitor database, operating system and user activities and perform database maintenance to include removal/archiving of obsolete data.
REQUIRED SKIILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years’ experience in project management of Information Systems projects.
Three (3) years’ experience in business analysis. • Three (3) years’ experience in development of technical requirements in interactive media design.
Three (3) years’ experience in development of product support documents.
Three (3) years’ experience in development of requirements in interactive media design.
Three (3) years’ experience in workflow development and documentation of workflow processes.
Three (3) years’ experience in data visualization/information architecture.
Three (3) years’ experience working with MHS Clinical Data.
Three (3) years’ experience working with SQL, relational databases and their management systems.
Two (2) years’ experience developing, testing and maintaining BI products (Tableau/Tableau Creator, Qlik, SSRS)
Proficiency in SharePoint or related services.
Prior experience developing databases and/or dashboards using Tableau/Tableau Creator software.
Web Services data call skills required
Webmaster skills are highly desirable.
Three (3) years’ experience using the following software (latest version), Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, Microsoft BI Stack, and SAS BI Software or similar.
Proven ability to synthesize disparate facts from multiple sources and coalesce into an accurate and useful analytic product, incorporating Service and MHS strategic goals for use by leadership in both tactical and strategic decision making.
Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and timely analytical products containing well?reasoned and cogent discussion points providing leadership with substantiated options or courses of action.
Demonstrated ability to organize/participate/lead working groups to develop analytic products and byproducts or to develop/understand processes leading to effective optimization of analytic efforts.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and clearly communicate analytical discoveries and appropriate recommendations/mitigation strategies to all levels of customers including Senior DHA leadership.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products PLUS additional software/hardware skills and capabilities.
Ability to critically examine and evaluate, problem-solve. • Demonstrated ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to deliver products on time, on schedule, within budget.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing and often time-constrained environment.
Ability to acquire skills/capabilities necessary to meet growing needs/demands of systems/software/hardware.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Informatics, Mathematics or similar/related field.
Other significant related public/population health experience such as previous participation in a data analytics/informatics fellowship may be considered as an appropriate substitute for education.
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have an active Tier 1 background check to obtain a common access card (CAC)
