Snapshot of the Installation and Service Technician

• Primary responsibility is to provide inspections, maintenance, and repair of hoist and crane equipment.
• Breakdowns require troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components and circuits.
• Work in various environments and working conditions depending on assignment.
• Ability to work extended hours, and occasionally on holidays (as required).

Installation and Service Technician Qualifications

• Working knowledge: electromechanical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase motor control, VFD, AC/DC).
• Strong troubleshooting experience regarding equipment modifications including radio remote installs, motor & gear replacements.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prior overhead crane experience (preferred).

• Industrial mechanic: 2 years (Required)
