Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills. This position will also develop phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

Inside Sales / New Business Development Representative Role & Responsibilities

  • The New Business Development Representative (NBD) is essential for coordinating sales appointments for the Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to develop, encouraging company growth within their respective territories.
  • Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Account Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Create sales appointments for Account Managers within geographic locations. Providing all necessary contact information.
  • Learning, embracing, and implementing multiple sales strategies and methodologies to be successful.
  • Driving to individually compete while still being a team player.

 

Inside Sales / New Business Development Representative

  • KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of at least (1) year of Customer Service or Recruiting or related background, or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • SKILLS:
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and Word
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with customers, sales staff, and internal team members.
    • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
    • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
