Position: Chief Financial Officer

Status: Fulltime

FSLA Class: Exempt

Location: Anchorage

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced CFO to perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy. Must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversees the ongoing operations of all relative departments.

· Manages and directs the company toward its primary goals and objectives.

· Oversees employment decisions at the executive level of the company.

· Promotes communication and cooperation among divisions to create a spirit of unity in the organization.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Drive the company’s financial planning and recommend investment strategies

· Control and evaluate the organizations capital structure

· Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations

· Supervise all finance personnel

· Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

· Works with other executives to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies.

· Oversees the organizations financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the company.

· Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company's objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.

· Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven experience as CFO, Finance Officer or relevant role

· Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

· Strong leadership and organizational skills

· CPA is a strong advantage

· Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
