Legal Case Manager

Craig Swapp & Associates is seeking an individual who shares our core values to join our team as a Legal Assistant/Case Manager.

Compensation: $20 - $27 hourly

$20 - $27 per hour

• The Case Manager works closely with an attorney and other legal staff regarding case management and settlement of personal injury claims
• Communicates often with clients adding detailed notes to files
• Notifies insurance companies of representation
• Sends billing information to providers and follows up to make sure they are billing in a timely manner
• Regular requesting of health insurance & PIP/Med Pay logs to verify billing and balances
• Gathers medical records and bills
• Prepares demand packages adding as much value to each case.
• Checks and documents outstanding medical balances and liens
• Assists with resolving contractual issues with Medicare, Medicaid, etc.

• Candidates should have excellent organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task and switch gears at a moment's notice
• Good customer service skills and attention to detail are also required.
• General computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience in Personal Injury Law, medical, and/or insurance industries preferred
• Fluent Spanish/English speaking preferred
