Job Description

Desired Experience

3-5 Years
- Security systems design and operation knowledge and a general understanding of building electrical systems and door hardware preferred.

- Proven background with reviewing Security design specifications & plans preferred.

- Knowledge of Security Management Systems and IT preferred.

- Formal strategic selling or other types of professional sales training.

- Three years of sales or related experience within the local market preferred.

Responsibilities

This sales professional will prospect, cultivate, and secure sales opportunities within the market in Oregon.

Cultivate and close Security projects and associated service opportunities with strategic end-use customers.

Meet directly with customers to establish needs and drive the overall sales process.

Work with Operations personnel to execute growth, development, sales, and marketing of all Security solutions offered

Conduct customer site walkthroughs and estimate both security system installations and service opportunities.

Continue creating market awareness through networking, presentations, and associations.

Support our leadership role with select product partners in support of their business development activity.

Construct and submit professionally written proposals within established deadlines.

Our common client is a Controls Contractor, anywhere from a 10-person company to a $100M company with hundreds of employees, and from small markets to very large metropolitan markets. In many markets, we are placing fire alarm, life safety and security (card access and CCTV) salespeople, system designers, IT/Network electricians, inspectors and management/leaders.
