The core role of the Controls Applications Engineer is responsible to develop the applicable control
system solution in coordination with the project specifications and proposal.
Development of DDC control system submittal and installation drawings to meet contractual
requirements. Includes: sequence of operations, bill of materials, valve/damper schedules,
wiring diagrams, network architecture.
Development of application software for DDC system operations and graphics based on
Coordinate control system installation and resolution of installation challenges with project
manager and subcontractor.
Revise control system documentation to reflect as-built condition.
Occasionally provide services in the field to assist project manager with special
programming and/or integration assistance.
5 years (minimum) experience in controls (DDC) market.
Proficient in planning, layout and integration of DDC controls into all inter-related electrical,
electronic and control sub-systems on commercial and industrial systems
Experience working directly with mechanical engineers and contractors.
Must be able to articulate with good written and oral communications skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Word and Outlook. Experience with
Field experience with installation, startup & troubleshooting DDC systems working for
controls system manufacturer or representative.
