Assures that the EEG services are properly administered so as to obtain results clearly interpretable and in the best interest of the patient. Formulates and recommends policies and procedures required for effective, efficient and economic operation of intra and inter departmental function. Schedules and books appointments for EEG. Assures that patients are properly informed and prepared both mentally and physically for the test. Must attend motivational and managerial seminars. Assures that required equipment and supplies are always available and properly handled. Assures that tracings are properly marked and identified for the interpretation. Maintains files and records for future reference. Maintains and checks equipment daily. Attends in-service education programs. Complies monthly statistics. Performs other related duties as required or as responsibilities necessitate. Interviews prospective employees and makes recommendations to the Manager.
High school graduate with formal EEG training or 2 years on the job training. ABRET board registered or board qualified.
