Infant/Toddler Teacher at Court Street Christian Child Care Center

Court Street Christian Child Care Center in Salem, OR is looking for one infant/toddler teacher to join our 20 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

We are a faith based Certified Child Care Center looking for a loving, and enthusiastic teacher for our 6wks-2-year-old classroom. 

The teacher will be responsible for:

Co-lesson plan/curriculum implementation

Guiding behavior 

Health and safety of the classroom/children (feedings, diaper changes, social and emotion needs)

Parent communication

Participating in chapel and bible curriculum

Sanitizing of the equipment and environment

Be able to lift minimum of 5lbs to 40lbs

The teacher will work directly with a co-teacher to perform these duties.

Qualifications

*Be available to work up to 40 hours, Monday-Friday

* Education and/experience preferred working with children

*Knowledge of child development

* Enrollment in Central Background Registry preferred (cannot begin employment until enrolled and approved).

* Enrollment in Oregon Registry Online preferred (required within 30 days of hire).

*First aid and CPR certified (required within 30 days of hire)

*Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (required within 30 days of hire)

*Other mandatory trainings to be completed within 30 days of hire
