General Overview:
Acts as a clinical liaison between clients, care providers, managed care companies, and other stakeholders to ensure clinically appropriate care and to problem-solve treatment authorization disputes. Collaborates with ADM Board staff to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.

-Analyzes agency budgets and writes budget narrative summaries annually.
-Analyzes utilization to identify problem areas and recommends priorities for clinical case reviews
-Conducts quality improvement audits; Independent Peer Reviews, Utilization Reviews and non-Medicaid audits
-Manages Agency Walkthrough process to ensure compliance
-Maintains records of current certifications for Summit County agencies and programs
-Serves as Privacy Officer and oversees all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to ADM policies and procedures covering privacy, in compliance with all laws and privacy practices
-Serves as alternate to manage client rights complaints and concerns in accordance with regulatory statutes when the Client Rights Officer is unavailable
Qualifications:
-Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or related field and over five years of experience working in the mental health field. Experience in the Summit County system a plus.
-Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
Professional Certifications or licensure (one or more of the following required):
-Active State of Ohio Nursing (RN) License;
-Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Independent Social Worker (LSW), advanced licensure (LISW, LPCC) preferred. Relevant experience will be considered.
