Cottage Health’s laboratory services are highly automated with state-of-the-art instrumentation and techniques. All of your medical records and test results are kept in a single, centralized, secure repository which allows fast and easy access to health records for any authenticated healthcare provider.

Cottage’s inpatient laboratories are fully licensed and accredited by The Joint Commission. Our full-service clinical labs offer over 800 procedures. Unlike any other center in the region, 97% of 
our procedures are performed in-house, ensuring the outstanding accuracy for which we are known.

Pacific Diagnostic Laboratories (PDL), a wholly-owned subsidiary under Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, is a full-service, independent clinical laboratory performing more than 2.1 million lab procedures annually. PDL’s enhanced outpatient lab testing has the largest local test menu between LA and the Bay Area.
