The Corvid Delivery and Support team manages a suite of enterprise-grade cybersecurity technologies designed to reduce the risk to customer organizations. The individual in this role will work as a support analyst maintaining deployed services, continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the supporting policies applied to the deployed security technology in order to reduce risk and maintain operational effectiveness in our client's environments while working with our clients to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively and professionally communicate with clients
- Serve as support specialist responsible for resolving technical and security issues caused by deployed security technologies
- Maintain currency in best practices with every experience gained from resolving client issues or technology enhancements
- Conduct event triage to maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Collaborate with Delivery and Security teams to meet operational goals in day-to-day operations and client deployments
- Participate in evaluation and maintenance of internal documentation and customer knowledgebase for all related processes
- Serve as an escalation resource and mentor for other team members
- Identify repeated issues and make suggestions on ways they could be mitigated
Job Qualifications
- 1 year of technical experience in Cyber Security, System Administration, or Network Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prior client-facing consulting or professional services experience
- Knowledge and experience using security technologies such as Anti-Virus, EDR, and email security
Preferred Security Certifications (including but not limited to the following certifications):
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- GIAC Security Essentials(GSEC)
- Bachelor's within Computing or Information Security
Preferred Competencies
- Knowledge of current threat landscape (threat actors, APT, cyber-crime, etc)
- Knowledge of Windows and Unix or Linux
- Proficient communication skills, vocally and written
