Senior Accounting Analyst

Highly acquisitive publicly traded Canadian company with operations both US domestically and abroad has an immediate need for a Senior Accounting Analyst in its largest subsidiary, Corus360. Due to growth in the company, this is a dual-purpose role requiring both high level accounting knowledge and analytical skill sets. The Senior Accounting Analyst will support corporate finance team in preparing and analyzing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, and forecast). Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting the accounting team with monthly close which includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and booking entries and reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support monthly close, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and audit ensuring accurate and timely results under IFRS
• Support weekly cash forecast and revolving line of credit reporting requirements and covenants
• Prepare and review company profitability & financial reporting metrics in a multi-subsidiary environment
• Assist in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures in accordance with IFRS.
• Assist in developing, documenting and testing of internal controls.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by the CFO or Controller

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance is required, advance degree preferred with minimum 3-6 years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret operating results
• Excellent in Excel, attentive to details and deadlines
• Perform with a powerful sense of urgency, accountability & follow-up
• Proactive approach, comfortable with working in a fast paced/ actively changing environment
• Excellent communication skills & ability to interact across multiple levels within the organization, including C-suite
