What you'll do:
As the Development Director for Corus World Health, you will serve as the lead philanthropic strategist responsible for the planning, executing and evaluating its fundraising strategy. You will have the opportunity to build a team and donor base for an emerging brand with all the assets of a large, successful fundraising organization. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Donor Recruitment and Acquisition Efforts
- Developing donor journeys that retain and increase donor's giving
- Recruitment and development of the Global Health Advisory Council who will help cultivate a major donor prospect pipeline
- Supervise the Senior Manager of Global Health in Prosect Research and Pipeline development
Location: Baltimore OR DC OR Minneapolis/St. Paul
About The Ideal Candidate:
You have experience across multiple parts of the fundraising program and understand the importance of a cohesive and inspirational donor journey. You are inspired by the prospect of building a program from the ground up and relish the opportunity to craft, test and scale new fundraising strategies. You find energy in leading and working alongside a team of experts who are passionate about equipping life savers to save lives.
The successful candidate for this position will have 10+ years of fundraising experience. A Bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree and/or Certifications relevant to the position are helpful. Proven success in an organization that has achieved aggressive fundraising growth is desired. A passion for engaging donors in solving the problem of global poverty is required.
