Job Description
Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies leading to an increased patient base, physician referral base, revenues, and our brand visibility. This position will ensure the company's brand is represented effectively and efficiently across all communications, including websites, social media, print, digital and all other advertising mediums. This role will lead the marketing team, based in Providence, Rhode Island in developing clear and crisp positioning that will guide messaging and other go-to-market strategies. This role will report to the CEO.
What you will be doing:
  • Lead overall marketing and communications strategy, branding, and messaging.
  • Provide inspirational leadership and supervision to the marketing department, providing guidance, feedback, and accountability.
  • Understand our markets and business (demographics, behaviors, influencers, competitive dynamics, channels, etc.) in order to design and implement effective marketing strategies to create awareness, drive demand, and increase market share.
  • Plan and oversee paid and organic marketing plan (email, social media, PPC, SEO, etc.).
  • Develop, edit, and oversee digital content (videos, website, social media, etc.), hard copy collateral, and other marketing and communications assets as needed, ensuring all content is high quality and consistent with our style and tone; plus deliver guidelines for all our employees to use across all social platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition team to support employer branding and messaging to increase talent pipeline.
  • Support community relations activities, including campaigns, press relations, events, and partner collaborations
  • Project manage marketing and communications initiatives, delivering against agreed upon deadlines and outcomes.
  • Set, track, report on, and manage marketing and communication-related analytics that contribute to overall business KPIs and financial results.
  • Manage relationships with marketing and communications agencies, consultants, and other vendors as needed.
  • Forecast, draft, implement, and oversee the department's operating budget.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Must have at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible marketing experience that demonstrates a high level of understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Experience must include demonstrated leadership ability, preferably working as a Director of Marketing or related management position.
  • Thorough understanding of best-in-class marketing strategies, practices, and tools.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and editing skills.
  • Self-directed and have strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and a keen eye for design.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills with experience successfully collaborating cross-functionally with other teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in leveraging digital/ social media analytics and setting goals and benchmarks
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp/Constant Contact, Wordpress, CRM tools, etc.
  • Proficient with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
