Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client in Lincolnshire, IL is immediately hiring a full-time, permanent Office Assistant, Customer Service Representative and a Communications Assistant. We are looking for applicants who possess motivation and want to excel in their chosen career path. Office Assistant - $35,000-$38,000

Perform a variety of clerical tasks such as preparing reports, filing, managing mail and some inbound calls. This person must be versatile and able to accomplish multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Order office supplies and manage all office equipment and maintenance
  • Assist with travel and hotel accommodations during client events, logging attendance per department
  • Learn each departments’ function and support roles, providing back up for vacations/sick time
  • Cross trained to provide assistance during peak periods to Customer Service Department

Requirements:

  • 6 months of office experience, internships are considered
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Customer Service Representative - $40,000-$44,000

Provide professional, quality customer service to our existing customers. This individual will be responsible for listening to our client’s needs, understanding timelines, placing orders, checking on status of orders, quote follow up and fielding questions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive, review and enter incoming customer purchase orders and return requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, calling contacts prior to events to ensure all materials have been ordered and logistics are on target
  • Create and administer quotes to customers as requested
  • Work effectively with internal departments to resolve customer issues
  • Develop knowledge of products and provide timely feedback to customer inquiries
  • Order entry, follow up and double check pre-existing quotes

Requirements:

  • 1 – 2 years of office experience
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Communications Assistant - $36,000-$40,000

Assist our Marketing and Communications event planning team with forecasting sales goals and initiatives. Our Assistant should have either worked within a Marketing or Communications department or have had an internship within a similar field. Recent college graduate with some exposure to a corporate office setting would also be considered. Strong project based experience with a “can do" attitude is required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Accurate and creative production of reports for Marketing Director and V.P.
  • Strong relationship building skills as you work with our key accounts to manage and follow up on events to include; catering, hotel, air, car and logistics of materials
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills for creating and manipulating marketing materials and other office documents
  • Work with sales team to compile necessary information and deliver on-time reporting
  • Various administrative functions per departments’ needs and requests

Requirements:

  • 6 months - 1 year of office experience
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Photoshop or InDesign experience a plus
  • Event planning experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
