POSITION SUMMARY: The Field Marketing Manager position is predominantly performed in outside sales, through the pre-designated territory and is responsible for generating profitable sales by creating awareness and forging mutually beneficial relationships by networking with local businesses and our communities. The Field Marketing Manager will promote the brand and garner sales from catering, event marketing, fundraisers, schools and hotels; seek out local store sales partnership opportunities to include retail/landlord co-ops, sports, chambers of commerce, religious institutions, non-profits, convention centers, etc.; perform related work as required. The Field Marketing Manager position spends 60%-80% of their working time away from the company’s place of business obtaining orders or contracts for products or services. This position will help restaurant ‘own the zone’ via traditional and in-person marketing initiatives. Manager will have daily assignments that are measurable. The goal is for this person to become an extension of the restaurant to strengthen community relationships and to seek out new sales opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Build catering sales specifically generating at least 10% increase in sales each month for a given territory
· Develop and amplify community relationships
· Conduct food sampling both on and off-site
· Understands Fresh Brothers legacy, brand, products and services to sell to potential customers
· Increase sales and check counts through direct and indirect sales and marketing strategies across businesses and the local community
· Canvassing in assigned territory
· Identifies key businesses for catering sales and strives to become repeat restaurant of choice
· Participate in business expos, mixers and other networking events to cultivate sales relationships
· Conducts research on local businesses and community events using internet intelligence, field expertise, and company-provided records, lists to convert leads into profitable sales
· Establishes themselves as primary customer contact in the field during meet and greets and scheduled sampling visits
· Maintains professional relationships with all store managers.
· Plan and execute initiatives to support the marketing plan and corresponding calendar
· Introduce, communicate, support and reinforce the company brand image amongst new and existing customers.
· Disseminate weekly reports.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
· Proven success in sales, marketing, hospitality, catering practices in the food and beverage industry
· Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative and profitable business relationships
· Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, partners and team members & managers alike
· Professional representation, strong business ethics, basic mathematics, strong time management skills and project management.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, adept and resourceful; Ability to multi-task, and function calmly in stressful situations
- Connect the dots when business opportunities are present
- Friendly demeanor and able to strike up conversations with people. Courteous, collaborative, and professional

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· 2+ years of catering, field marketing, or business development experience
· Local store marketing knowledge with restaurant experience preferred
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
· Must be licensed to operate a vehicle and transport needed marketing materials.
· Drive from residence or restaurant to conduct field objectives and sales calls (approved mileage reimbursed).
· Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
· Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Will frequently have to reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and/or key in data.
· Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
· Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
· Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
SALARY RANGE AND COMPENS:
· $65,000-$75,000 annually
