Alarm Monitoring Representative

This full-time opportunity functions in our client’s state-of-the-art 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center as an Alarm Monitoring Representative working a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedule which could include holidays and weekends.

Alarm Monitoring Representatives are responsible for providing excellent support by accurately and efficiently responding to alarm signals to emergency services, fire, and police agencies as well as notifying specific customer-designated notifying contacts, answering a multi-line telephone system, and performing data entry. Job duties are similar to those of a 911 emergency dispatcher. Employees must be attentive and perform procedures with a quick and accurate response as our industry is life safety.

Responding to all incoming alarm signals in the automation software according to documented procedures.
When deemed appropriate, call the premise, notify the authorities, and call a list of contacts.
Log all information into the automation system immediately.
Answer the multi-line telephone system.
Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times.
High School Diploma required; some colleges preferred.
1-3 years of work experience.
Type 35 + words a minute.
