CorkSport is seeking an experienced Warranty & Sales Specialist to support our Worldwide Mazda Community. In this hybrid position, the ideal car enthusiast will leverage their proven sales experience to drive quality customer service and sales, while fully managing our warranty process. The applicant will enjoy seamlessly shifting responsibilities, supporting company strategic plans, owning company KPIs and root causing complex customer claims. Strong leadership, time management, organizational and communication skills are essential.

Our ideal candidate has 2 years of direct customer-facing sales/warranty experience backed by a strong knowledge of aftermarket parts. This means you might be a diamond in the rough working at the local parts counter (possibly at a Mazda dealer) or you might already be an active member of the Mazda Community - supporting your performance parts addiction through a current sales/warranty position. Either way, your success will demand keen attention to detail, demonstrated ability to organize and plan, aligned with a solid track record of excellent written and verbal communication. Further, the Warranty & Sales Specialist will have the ability to directly connect with people to ultimately balance customer empathy and support.

  • Seamlessly shift priorities between sales and warranty support, while surpassing customer expectations and processing, evaluating, and resolving warranty/return requests within tight deadlines.
  • Prepare weekly warranty reporting, lead warranty review & strategy meetings and serve as the expert on warranty trends and root causes.
  • Analyze internal trends in warranty obligations to identify, develop and implement procedures and programs to prevent future warranty claims.
  • Utilized report data to collaborate closely with operations, fulfillment, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure a high-quality, end-to-end customer experience.
  • Act as a customer service conduit for processing product inquiries, technical questions regarding product applications, manual sales orders, billing/address changes, shipment updates, and collections.
  • Review and resolve UPS billing discrepancies internally, with end customers and directly with UPS.
  • Assist and reinforce CorkSport branding marketing through social media posting, forums, blogging and ad hoc content generation.
  • Attend and support local Mazda Community Events.
  • Flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.


  • First-hand knowledge of aftermarket performance parts coupled with a minimum of 2 years of successful customer-facing sales/warranty position, with a proven track record of engaging in positive consistent customer interactions and growing long-term relationships.
  • Track record of using data to drive decisions in business with a demonstrated attention to detail, ability or organize and plan consistent quality of work.
  • Excellent ability to organize, manipulate, interpret, and report the results of data analysis utilizing Excel, Smartsheet, and QuickBooks.
  • Clear, consistent and effective written and verbal communication skills, with natural ability in building strong strategic relationships with all levels of management and supplier/dealer networks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously within a structured team environment and independently managing high profile tasks while exceeding customer satisfaction.
  • Technical in-depth knowledge of the 2007 - 2013 Mazdaspeed 3/6 and 2014+ Mazda platforms highly desired.
  • Direct experience in automotive aftermarket warranty management role highly coveted.
