CorkSport is seeking a positive, outgoing, and energetic candidate with 2 - 5 years marketing and community management experience. The candidate will be hungry to make a big impact within a small team and is comfortable reporting directly to the president of our organization!

Our ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented and is driven to win! An individual with a strong but balanced personality that supports the assertiveness required to navigate aftermarket communities across multiple social media platforms. The Digital Marketing Specialist will generate edgy and fun marketing campaigns and digital assets aligned with our branding strategy to increase customer reach, retention and sales growth. This B2C role requires an individual with a passion for understanding consumer behavior, a strong outgoing creative spirit, and the ability to be analytical.

Your success will demand excellent written and verbal communication, in addition to extraordinary time management skills. You will be expected to lead by example; hyper-focused on creating an excellent experience for our customers. The applicant must have the ability to directly and emotionally connect with customers through creative marketing campaigns and social media. Ultimately, we are seeking a hands-on go-getter who combines an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to build, accelerate and maintain our marketing and social media management.

Responsibilities

  • Community Management: Manage all social media posts and responses; Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Google.
  • Marketing Strategy: Execute brand marketing and determine what, how and when to advertise; including creating and maintaining a strategic rolling marketing calendar.
  • Digital Advertising: Steer and adjust Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit and Google Business advertising using performance-based tools; Google AdWords/Analytics, such as Net Promoter Score, Web Master SEO, Facebook/Instagram advertising manager and Question Pro.
  • Content Generation: Create and edit social media collateral and posts to optimize organic customer reach, impressions and website leads.
  • Product Page & Blog Optimization: Create/edit/maintain product pages and blogs to support current SEO/SEM, HTML/CSS, Schema, and Meta Data requirements.
  • Newsletter/Email Campaigns: Maintain customer email list(s) and produce 2 Newsletters a month, in addition to targeted email campaigns via MailChimp.
  • 7th Gear Program: Manage our 7th Gear Program; including sign-ups and renewals
  • KPI Reporting: Collect and report weekly/monthly marketing key performance indicators, supported by ad hoc reporting as necessary.
  • Account Management: Onboard new accounts; Mazda Dealers and Discount accounts. Directly manage and support Regional Distributor accounts; processing sales orders.
  • Web Design: Design, maintain and optimize fresh landing pages, update site content and create product pages via HTML/CSS generator
  • Event Planning: Manage and support CorkSport Events near and far; includes some travel.
  • Flexibility: Take on additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate with a minimum of 2 years of direct marketing experience or 2 to 5 years of combined customer service/sales, social media/community management, and marketing experience. Provide Portfolio with examples.
  • Direct success using; SEM Rush, Google Analytics/Search Console, Adwords, Hootsuite, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, MailChimp, Net Promoter, Facebook/Instagram advertising, Webmaster Tools, and Question Pro.
  • Web Design; HTML/CSS
  • Outstanding ability to plan, organize, and navigate tight timelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail with consistency in approach to and quality of work.
  • Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong knowledge of Excel required. You will be tested.
  • Community/Social management experience; responding as an employee on behalf of a company to social posts.
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly Desired: First-hand knowledge of Mazda aftermarket performance parts.
  • Highly Desired: Experience using QuickBooks and SmartSheet.
