Corenic is seeking a professional, enthusiastic and task-oriented Human Resources Assistant to carry out a variety of HR administrative tasks and activities to support the growth and organization of the company. In this role, the candidate will carry out the following essential duties and responsibilities under the direction of the HR Consultant and General Manager:

  • Carry out administrative tasks related to HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy as directed to include:
    • HRIS maintenance, reports, announcements, workflows
    • Performance management system support
    • Onboarding and offboarding tasks and follow up
    • Benefits administration support
    • Email and telephone support for all HR related questions
    • Training coordination activities
    • Recordkeeping support
    • Employee engagement activities
  • Collaborate with management and employees to create a positive, fulfilling, and fun atmosphere while maintaining structure and accountability.
  • Coordinate with Recruiter, HR Consultant and department managers on the recruitment and selection process of candidates.
  • Work with HR Strategist/Consultant to current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Assist with ensuring performance reviews are completed in a timely fashion
  • Assist with administrative activities related to pay plan and benefits programs
  • Make recommendations to management for improvement of organization’s employment practices.
  • Provide input and insight with a variety of HR metrics.
  • Provide feedback to HR Consultant/General Manager regarding legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Assist with coordination and monitoring of training of activities in support of functional leads
  • Additional duties may also include collaborating with the Administrative Manager on a variety of employee related items

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment practices laws
  • Understanding of HR programs in recruitment, compensation/benefits, employee relations and strategic planning and training/development
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred but not required
  • Must be skilled at interpersonal communication, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build consensus and exercise good judgment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a busy environment
