Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION  

Contributing member of the Clinical Data Management (CDM) department responsible for building reports for various internal and external audiences based on detailed user stories and preliminary specifications. The person in this role will love working with data, have an eye for streamlining and accuracy, and be curious about new ideas while respecting established precedents. This position will help strengthen CorEvitas’ real-world data collection and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in growing and expanding on their background in data reporting and data analysis.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Clinical Data Reporting Specialist will play a role in the following functional capacities:

·      Develops reports using SQL including complex SQL queries.

·      Publishes finalized report output using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Tableau

·      Creates and updates report documentation.

·      Validates reports developed by other programmers.

·      Gathers and interprets report requests into report design specifications.

·      Contributes insight and ideas toward streamlining and improving the CDM reporting program.

·      Administers report subscription or delivery accounts.

·      Writes instructions or other documentation to help report users understand and interpret the report contents.

·      Performs ad hoc reporting in statistical or other software.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE  

·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, health, or science field or relevant work experience.

·      Two years of experience in clinical data reporting or analysis.

·      Two or more years of experience in SQL, SAS/STATA, or Tableau.

·      SSRS experience a plus

·      Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools.

·      Advanced skills in Excel.

·      Familiarity with EDC development and large data sets is preferred.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills

·      Must possess strong English communication and writing skills and be able to work independently and as a part of a team

·      Strong proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite

·      Additional duties may be assigned, either temporary or permanent based on company needs

·      Completion of Human Subjects Protection (HSP) training (provided by CorEvitas)
