Job Description

Position Summary

 

Copper Beech Financial Group is looking for an investment portfolio administrator to add to our administrative support team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks including opening client accounts and facilitating client service requests relating to these accounts, including distributions and transfers of funds. Candidate will be responsible for all administrative tasks related to client accounts within the Firm. He/she would also be responsible for initial reception duties such as answering phone calls and taking messages for the office.

 

The qualified candidate should be comfortable with multitasking and have a high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Having a self-starter mentality is a must. A high degree of self-sufficiency, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently is a must. Ideal candidate will possess a high degree of initiative and willingness to problem solve. The position will also give the candidate autonomy to develop processes and procedures for the role within the Firm’s mission and culture. The candidate should also possess a high degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting and communicating with Firm’s clients and other relationships.

Job Responsibilities

· Compile and complete client, custodian, and firm paperwork, including opening and closing of client accounts.

· Review and maintain client transactions and activity.

Process client checks for deposit into accounts.

· Execute client account tasks such as asset transfers, preparation of reports, and general support of portfolio and investment strategies.

· Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with regulatory compliance related tasks, as needed.

· Preparation of investment portfolio proposals.

· Provide various client account reports to advisors, as needed.

· Assist in the creation of client presentations and reports.

· Perform administrative and clerical duties associated with setting up and maintaining client accounts.

· Perform additional administrative duties such as answering telephones, greeting clients, typing correspondence, filing and mailing documents, and any other administrative duties required by the office.

 

 

Minimum Job Qualifications

 

· Undergraduate degree highly preferred.

· Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint required.

 

 

Following Qualifications Preferred:

· Administrative experience in financial services, specifically investment advisory and/or financial planning firms.

· Financial Planning, accounting, business administration, or other professional undergraduate degree.

· Series 7 or another FINRA/SEC license.

· Salesforce experience preferred, but not required.

· Accounts Payable or Receivable Experience.
