Job Summary:

The Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates production kitting machinery in accordance with Sop's.
• Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Entry level capacity of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods working on feet, or sitting down and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds/ consistently and 50 pounds intermittently.
• Visual acuity to understand instructions, operate machines.
• Use of proper usage of company PPE

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a lab environment.

• The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
