Cooper Power Systems, the Kohler Generator Distributor in NY, NJ & Southeastern PA, is seeking a highly motivated Aftermarket Service Sales Manager, to join our team in the NJ & PA markets. The Aftermarket Service Sales Manager, is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing our service business in a specific territory. He/she will be representing our Service Department, by selling new preventative maintenance agreements, and selling other products and services that are offered to help our customers properly maintain their generator sets. The sales process includes, but is not limited to prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, presentations & proposal generation/bid response and closing the sale.
SALES – Grow market share within assigned area of responsibility.
- Bid on, and close preventive maintenance agreements for both new and existing customers
§ Must possess the “hunter” mentality and enjoy seeking new opportunities to grow our customer base.
- Prospecting for new, major accounts within a territory
- Develops value propositions based on unique customer needs
- Delivers sales presentations to promote and sell the company’s services
- Contribute Sales promotions & marketing ideas to maximize sales opportunities
- Develops and executes a business sales plan for a specific territory
- Reports sales and quoting information, provide weekly updates and share market intelligence
- All other duties as assigned

· High School Graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
· Possess a strong customer service focus with excellent verbal, written and communication skills
· Candidates must possess integrity, a strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to meet budget requirements
· Must be highly competent with Microsoft Office
· Ability to work alone or with a team
· Possess and maintain a current, valid state driver’s license
· Proven track record of success in sales
