Data Specialist

The Data Specialist is an entry level position that will collect data from patients who have undergone or will undergo a hematopoietic cell transplant. This position will maintain and make updates to the database, assist with pulling of volume data for data requests and submit forms to appropriate organizations within the time frame given. The Data Specialist is expected to prioritize work plans in accordance to program goals.


  • High School or equivalent required, Bachelor or Associate degree in health related field is preferred

  • Medical record abstracting required

  • Knowledge of medical terminology or oncological disease process is essential

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, etc..) are required
