Candidates for the Client Director position have a solid background developing relationships within the enterprise technology space and developing new business. They are self-starting, ambitious, goal-driven and task-oriented while still humble. They understand the sales process starts by empathetically listening and understanding the value we bring and the solution needed to solve for your customer. Client Directors are a blend of customer success, sales, and business development professionals.

The Client Director will be responsible for supporting and generating new business with a defined set of Convene existing accounts and within a given territory. The Client Director will own the executive relationship management with their accounts and lead the sales/strategy for accounts in the TOLA region with an emphasis on San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Houston.

What you get to do in the role:

Build and manage relationships within the customer base while achieving sales growth for allocated accounts within the territory on a quarterly and annual basis by:

·Provides strategic leadership to customer

·Empathetically understanding customer needs

·Developing account plans aligning customer’s growth to Convene’s offerings

·Identifying key opportunities within the territory at new accounts

·Develop listing and plan for targeting new accounts

·Maintain and develop an awareness of the Convene brand in the territory

·Manages all Executive relationships between Convene and our customers

·Meet on a frequent basis with existing accounts within the territory

In order to be successful in the role, we need someone who has:

·3+ years experience in client management or customer success and aligning account strategies to revenue opportunities

·1+ years experience as a Client Director or equivalent role with validated enterprise sales solutions experience is strongly preferred

·Previous sales experience in services, application development, or enterprise product sales

·Commercially astute

·Experience with offshore and nearshore resourcing preferred

·Strong self-motivating character

·Able to prioritize effectively

·Reliable transportation and travel up to 75% primarily within Texas

Compensation & Benefits:

·Base Salary + uncapped commission
