You're ultimately responsible for maintaining the CES standard of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality.

Objectives of this Role is to manage the engineering and technical aspects of projects.
  • Maximize project efficiency and profitability
  • Determine project specifications and acquire in conjunction with purchasing the necessary materials for completion
  • Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation
  • Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel
  • Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle schedule
  • Strong technical leader
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Assist the project manager to establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
  • Interpret needs, expectations and limitations of projects
  • Work with project manager to give advice and supervision to the engineering aspects of the project.
  • Interpretation of the desired outcome into a detailed plan that can be implemented by a project team
  • Planning and forecasting of the project
  • Acquisition of appropriate staff, materials, and equipment
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers and internal company stakeholders
  • Keeping the project on schedule
  • Keeping the project on budget
  • Main management of the project team
  • Ongoing reporting of the project progress
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company SOPs as well as external regulations and laws – this includes maintenance of project documentation
  • Troubleshooting problems as they arise on a project – finding efficient and effective solutions
  • Commissioning and qualification responsibilities
  • Inform all supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field of study
  • 4+ years project management, project engineering, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality)
  • Proven computer platform experience
  • Strong field management experience
  • Experience supporting Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processes
  • Organizational Skills – Able to prioritize workloads, problems and needs of all members of the multidisciplinary Team
  • Communication Skills – ability to outline project deliverables, understand problems and convey effective work arounds to ensure the project continues as intended. Ability to adjust to the priorities of each.
  • Problem Solving – Ability to find appropriate solutions for problems as they arise
  • Keen Attention to Detail – Ability to focus on many tasks at once while still maintaining close attention to details of each
  • Commercial awareness - possess the commercial awareness to deliver project outcomes on schedule and on budget, while still maintaining its safety.
  • Decisiveness Must be able to assess and understand the facts involved before reaching an objective decision that they will be fully accountable for.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design
  • Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
  • Previous experience with database design and development

  • Valid Drivers License and Background check required
