Veteran and retired candidates welcome!Job Overview: Continental Tide is seeking a Program Manager with Propulsion and Power Systems experience to support our Fleet Services Group. Continental Tide has been awarded three (3) Power and Propulsion System Contracts within the last three months for NSWCPD and Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center and requires a motivated individual looking to capitalize on these opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, client management, and project execution of shipboard system projects and initiatives.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Program Manager responsible for business development, client management, estimating, project execution across Continental Tide's Propulsion and Power Systems business line* Oversee and direct program and project initiatives* Ensures compliance with all contract requirements and allocates all appropriate resources* Develop proposal responses, project estimates, and prepare status reports* Lead and direct work of employees assigned to projects * Work with Continental Tide Senior Management and Department heads on strategic initiatives and identification of growth opportunities * Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignmentExperience and SkillsRequirements:7-10+ years of experience working with Propulsion and Power systems aboard US Navy shipsFamiliar with FAR clauses and contract managementMust be able to demonstrate familiarity and experience with Power and Propulsion systems. Example systems and equipment include:Ability to develop proposal responses (IDIQ / Seaport-e) is a mustAbility to read and interpret NAVSEA Standard Items and ship specificationsMust have or have the ability to obtain SECRET clearanceMust have the ability to obtain base access and security credentialsTravel may be required within and outside of the continental United StatesAC and DC Motors, Motor Controllers and Variable Speed Drives400Hz and DC Motor Generator Sets and associated controlsMotor Generator Sets and associated controlsSwitchboards, Load Centers, Switchgear and protective devicesArc Fault Detection SystemsSteam, Diesel and Gas Turbine Generator Sets and associated controlsDue to export control regulations, this role is open to U.S. citizens onlyAdditional Areas of Focus:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience working with Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Code 42 and 44 is a plusDemonstrate problem solving, decision making skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and execute multiple assigned tasks simultaneouslyProficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Reasonable Accommodations Statement:To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform the essential job duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employee or others.
