Job Overview:

Continental Tide is seeking a ProgramManager with Commercial Shipyard, Continuous MaintenanceAvailabilities (CMAV) and/or US Navy Non-Complex Availability Managementexperience to support our Fleet Services Group. Continental Tide is a PrimeContract Holder for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC)Non-Complex Availability and CMAV Programs, US Army | Zone 3 Programs, as wellas a Prime Contract Holder for the five (5) Major Commercial Shipyards in theHampton Roads | VA Operational Area.  These Programs are highly competitiveand require a motivated individual looking to capitalize on theseopportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for BusinessDevelopment/Work Capture, Client Management, and Project Execution of shipboardsystem projects and initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Program Manager responsible for Business Development, Client Management, Estimating, Project Execution and Reporting across Continental Tide's Commercial Shipyard, CMAV and/or US Navy Non-Complex Availability business lines
  2. Oversee and Direct program and project initiatives
  3. Ensures compliance with all contract requirements and allocates all appropriate resources
  4. Develop Proposal Responses, Project Estimates, and prepare Status Reports
  5. Lead and Direct work of employees assigned to projects
  6. Must have a proven ability to successfully work with Continental Tide Senior Management and Department heads on Strategic Initiatives and identification of Growth Opportunities
  7. Perform duties Outside of Specialty to complete work assignment


Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience working with Commercial Shipyard and/or US Navy Non-Complex Availability Systems aboard US Navy ships
  • Familiar with FAR clauses and Contract Management, with direct experience operating in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) environment
  • Demonstrated experience IRT planning and execution of multiple concurrent tasks that span contracts and programs
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions during both routine operations and times of increased operational tempo
  • Review Project Manager and Task Lead reports for accuracy related to progress and costs…brief Senior Management with summary of detailed and accurate reports
  • Prepare, organize, collect, evaluate, review and/or revise program documentation including but not limited to the following: issue reports, program plans, implementation goals, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), work breakdown structures, impact statements, funding profiles, procurement requirements, planning, control dates, schedules, and procedures.
  • Must be able to demonstrate familiarity and experience with USN Shipboard Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM Combat Systems (CS) and Auxiliary Systems (AuxSys)…specific examples are as follows:

    • On occasion, travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States (Less than 5% of the time)
