Job Description

Consumer Attorney Marketing Group is a Los Angeles based advertising agency that combines media buying expertise, industry experience and intensive analytics to deliver the most effective TV & radio campaigns is currently accepting applications for a Data Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This position will report to our VP, Data & Analytics and will serve as a member of a team of professionals within a rapidly expanding organization that provides room for advancement and growth.

As a Business Analyst on the Data & Analytics team, you will be the data owner responsible for identifying KPI’s, building analyses and reports, providing metrics to the Executive team to help drive decision making. This role works closely with the VP of Data & Analytics and interfaces with a variety of stakeholders ranging from Media, Operations, Client Services, IT, and Finance. Beyond data reporting and analytics, you will also help expand the amount of data-points we have available to better manage and track the performance of our client campaigns and the efficiency of our business operations. This role is instrumental in helping Management make calculated decisions based on data & insight.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources to present it in a digestible and actionable format
  • Analyze large data sets using a variety of database query and visualization tools
  • Provide technical expertise in extracting, integrating, and analyzing critical data
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, automation and refinement of existing reports and data solutions
  • Perform analysis to identify and understand issues or events. Reconcile and validate data from multiple sources and drive resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business/Financial Analyst or Data Analyst preferably with exposure to complex data sources
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel; Proficient in SQL
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
  • Knowledge of fundamental relational database technology and terminology
  • Proficient in converting data sets into actionable business insights
  • Experience using tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in lead generation, intake process, and ROI measurement
  • Solid grasp of common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression)
  • Quick learner with a strong data-driven and quantitative focus when solving problems
  • Advanced understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques
  • Familiarity with funnel and conversion concepts
