Business Development Manager
Construemax offers 24/7 Emergency Response and Reconstruction Services to the Central Florida, Tampa and Panhandle areas. Our Services include water extraction, fire & smoke damage mitigation, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup and residential and commercial structural repairs.
Construemax is continuing to grow, and we are searching for a talented Business Development Manager to support our Central Florida operation. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual that will manage residential and commercial restoration projects for the company. The Business Development Manager will support business goals and objectives while sustaining the company?s goals and objectives. This is a salary-based position that has a competitive commission opportunity when business initiatives and key performance indicators are met.
The Business Development Manager is an outgoing individual that is a self-starter that will contribute with the sales goals of the company, build relationships with clients while assisting to expand our market segment. The Business Development Manager is responsible for market and develop relationships with decision makers of insurance, property management, multi-family and senior living verticals. The Business Development Manager will also assist with the selection, on-boarding and training of new Business Development Representatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Research, establish, develop and maintain professional relationships with decision makers within the insurance, property management, multi-family and senior living verticals.
+ Ability to offer our services and close sales.
+ Develop and maintain a calendar of activities to continue to promote the company and develop relationships that can bring additional revenue to the company.
+ Actively participate and network in industry-related trade organizations while promoting the Construemax brand and selling our services
+ Ability to process and track 140-160 client interactions each month including 30 meetings with clients.
+ Flexible schedule to participate in insurance association meetings, events, trade shows and seminars to meet and develop business relationships and to stay current with industry standards and subjects.
+ Assist management team to establish annual goals, gross profit plans while forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and budgets for the department.
+ Attend weekly sales and marketing meetings to report progress of sales and marketing initiatives and develop strategies for the following weeks and months.
+ Develop and promote Construemax?s brand while promoting our services and developing new prospective clients.
+ Maintain well organized tracking activities and documentation of contacts and follow ups in CRM
+ Develop and deliver sales presentations in front of business groups to promote our services.
+ Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times specially when representing the company at events and trade shows.
+ Attend networking groups like BNI and local claims groups.
+ Develop strategy for online and social media presence.
+ Other duties as directed by management
The Business Development Manager will work with company owners, project managers, office and field personnel. Positive professional contact with external clients is required to provide a smooth flow of information and materials regarding receipt and deliver of products and services.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must possess the ability not only to perform the job tasks described above but also develop new sales plans to present and execute on. The candidate must be computer literate with the ability to use several industry related software, have a functional understanding of computers, handheld smart devices and an aptitude for learning new technology. Strong communication skills and having the ability to follow verbal and written instructions is of the utmost importance. The Business Development Manager, just like any other team members of Construemax must possess a clean background, an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a drug test screening.
Education and/or Experience A candidate must have previous experience in a leading role within the sales and marketing division. Experience working in a similar role within the restoration industry and IICRC certifications are a plus. High School diploma, associates or bachelor?s degree in business, marketing or related field.
While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to climb, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to operate a variety of automated office machines, telephone, and will have extended viewing of computer monitor. The employee may occasionally be required to wear an air purifying respirator and therefore must be able to pass quantitative and qualitative fit testing.
+ Education and Experience:
+ GED or High School Diploma
+ Knowledge of restoration, mitigation, and/or construction practices and procedures ? desired but not required.
+ Ability to learn how to utilize CRM and industry related software.
