Sales Manager:

Location: Northern Virginia/DC Metro Area; Construction/Trades experience required

70-80k plus commission

Reporting to our VP of Sales, the successful candidate will play a key internal role in closing sales and helping to manage existing customers.

Role Description:

Looking for someone to work directly with the leadership team to lead sales opportunities. As one of the primary points of contact with our customers, this is a roll-up the sleeves, get it done roll that will require strong interpersonal and project management skills and will expand as we grow.

The position will entail the following:

  • Manage sales funnel of potential projects, communicating with customers and internal field service team 

  • Oversee preparation and execution of job contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and maintenance of future sales opportunity 

  • Complete project estimating to project feasibility of opportunities

  • Develop marketing strategies to strategically expand our customer base through email, telephone or other creative solutions

  • Mange sales opportunity pipeline to identify new customers, segments

  • Represent and promote our brand through regular contact with key customers

  • Facilitate information flow between field sales and internal office staff to ensure smooth operations across the organization 

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in construction, electrical, HVAC or related trade in a sale or project management role

  • BS or BA in STEM, business, or marketing preferred, high school diploma acceptable with a high degree or progressive work responsibility.

  • Demonstrated track record of sales and project success

  • Proficiency with MS Office

  • Must have the drive to grow personally & professionally while being a team player

  • Interest in and passion for empowering employee ownership in small business
