Project Manager - Plumbing

Inland County Plumbing Contractor is searching for a proven Project Manager with Plumbing contracting experience to oversee commercial/retail projects.

General responsibilities:

Overall management, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of all plumbing projects insuring customer satisfaction, effective management, timely job completion, budget constraints and safety requirements are met and followed.

Qualified Candidate will have an accomplished record of the following:

Work effectively with your Project Managers, foreman and field crew of plumbers
Supervise, coach and mentor team to maximize productivity
Manage complex commercial, retail big box and grocery store electrical projects from large to small
Ground Up
Major Remodels
Tenant Improvement
Available 24/7 (Crews working days and nights)
Establish scope of work thru a complete review of estimate, plans and specs
Perform job site visits and monitor progress weekly
Track and monitor releases, change orders, and critical milestones for all projects
Manage financial aspects of all projects to ensure profitability of each project
Material Orders / Bulk Buys / Prefab
Estimating / Job Walks
Manpower / Hours Worked / Quality Workmanship
Scheduling Deadlines
Change Orders / RFI’s
Safety
Profitability
Build and develop relationships with General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Inspectors and potential clients

Requirements:

10 years Plumbing Project Management Experience on large, complex commercial projects, such as big box retail and grocery stores
Computer literate
Construction Project Management
Estimating Software
Word, Outlook, Excel
Current Plumbing Certification
Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal and Written
Ability to communicate with Customers/Clients, General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Inspectors, Management, OSHA
Ability to Effectively Communicate with Project Managers, and Field Team of Plumbers
Experience in Change Order Management
Strong Organizational Skills
