Project Engineer Construction

Construction By Champion is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to help lead the company through its next growth cycle and beyond. We are a full service commercial/industrial masonry contractor working on some of the largest and most complex projects in the state. The majority of our work is in the public sector, but we have a healthy balance of private work as well. Areas of expertise include: schools, higher education, water/wastewater facilities, healthcare, DOT, multi-family, etc.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide outstanding customer service and positive client relationships

· Partner with General Superintendent and Foreman to ensure the success of project goals

· Produce and maintain project master schedule

· Monitor project internal labor costs and production goals

· Asist with monthly payment application process and ensure timely payment

· Process project submittals

· Compile and track change order requests

· RFI processing and tracking

· Field coordination and support

· Project management support

· Project close out

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management (required)

· Experience in commercial construction projects (required)

· Passion for customer service

· Have experience using the following: PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar; Microsoft Excel (advanced skillset); Microsoft Project; Bluebeam; Procore.

Location

· Our office is located in Bellingham

· Projects are primarily located along the I-5/I-405 corridor from Olympia to the border

· We do service the entire state with occasional projects further East and West

· Travel requirements for this position are minimal, the bulk of the work is at our home office in Bellingham.

Compensation & Benefits:

· $70,000-95,000 base salary
