Sales Consultant

What You Will Do

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for product demonstrations, manage prospective clients, close new business, and assist with existing clients as needed.

Your Day to Day Essential Duties

  • Manage new business to business (B2B) sales opportunities for small to medium companies in the construction industry (General Contractors, Sub Contractors, Home Builders, Suppliers, etc) throughout the U.S. and Canada
  • Perform demonstrations (via phone and screen-share) of the Plan Swift solution
  • Conduct a needs analysis with prospects and make appropriate recommendations
  • May demonstrate and sell in person at trade shows or other events (occasional travel)
  • Maintain prospect pipeline and complete related sales tasks (appointments, follow-ups, etc)
  • Manage portfolio of existing accounts by handling their needs and requests
  • Meet or exceed expected sales quotas
  • Other responsibilities/projects as needed and assigned

What You Bring to the Team

  • BA/BS Degree in business, management, or another relevant field (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of (B2B) sales, prospecting, and account management
  • Excellent communicate: in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Solid phone presence and ability to create trust with clients/prospects
  • Unquestionable integrity and commitment
  • Driven to achieve goals and continually improve
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and screen-share technology

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the working day
  • Needs to occasionally move about the office to communicate with staff and attend meetings
  • Constantly operates a computer
  • Frequently communicates verbally with peers and management
  • Must be able to analyze detail close-up
